Pinarello X Diesel Collabo 2012 "Only the Brave"
"Pinarello's technology and know-how blend with Diesel's style and creativity to create "Only the Brave", the brand-new urban bike to ride the world's streets.
Single speed, light and versatile to adapt safely to all kinds of urban streets, it reminds of the American messenger bikes in its design and soul, but it is also the result of a careful study of balances and strengths - like all Pinarello models.
Pinarello works on all its creations inside its R & D lab, where the line of the bike was studied together with the Diesel Creative Team and developed by the Pinarello lab through the SOE system. The Hydroformed Aluminium 6061 T6 used for the frame allows for an original and distinctive design, while preserving handling agility and cornering ability, two crucial features while riding urban streets."
Adidas Prototype Bicycle Polo SPD Sneakers
Fugly kicks ATMO, but is bicycle polo going to be real big or what? SPD compatible too so let's all hope that Adidas has something else too - bit nicer looking spd sneakers! - in the pipeline for 2012.

Return of the "Cannondale Tarck 1000"
It's not April Fools Day, or is it? From Prolly's:
"I know I am always saying "steel is real" but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to work with Cannondale USA on the return of their beloved track bike. A few months back, the PR&D team hit me up, asking what they should do for their 2012 line since their current models weren't selling. I told them to go back to their roots and pick up where the mid-90's track bikes left off. After a lot of back and forth about how to make these bikes "hip" enough to sell at high-end track bike boutique shops, we came to a consensus. Available in three limited edition colorways, the Cannondale Tarck 100 is slated for release early 2012. Now you don't have to pay top dollar for 20 year old, fatigued aluminum!"
Also, holy seat angle, Batman...
Scott OTG 20 by GREMS
Scott OTG 20 by GREMS.
"Scott brings art to its bicycles with one of today’s most influential and exciting young French artists, designers and musicians, known as GREMS. He is a multifaceted man with many preferences, who puts his own character into every masterpiece. With hand-drawn signs and lettering as well as bold graphics and graffiti, he convinces artists and turns public space into open air artwork. Nothing is to be expected from his paintings, drawings and designs. GREMS’ latest rise to a challenge was for the SCOTT urban bike collection 2012, where he designed two exclusive bikes – one SCOTT OTG, a so called Fixie, and one SCOTT SUB."

P-Fix feat. Tom LaMarche
Tom La Marche for Specialized from Uncle Buck on Vimeo.
Nice. P-Fix will be THE s**t as a cheap FGFS complete, that's for sure.
But what's going on with the crappy editing? The music ends too early etc. One would think that a company like Specialized has the marketing budget to get things done proper. Or is it just to make it look 'raw', 'legit' and all DIY? That's pretty weak IMHO.
Pelago Bicycles 2012 Sneak Peak // Competition
A lil' sneak peak at the Pelago Bicycles range for 2012 and a naming competition. Looks sweet to me.
"We are introducing some new models next year. First of them shall be this light weight bicycle – a classic mixte with a modern approach. Full cromo frame with butted main tubes.
There's only one little problem: the beloved child has many names and we've had hard time making up our minds which one to record in the books. There's a few suggestions below; which one do you prefer – or how would you call it if you were to decide? Thumb-click the proposal you like or suggest your own. We will draw a winner amongst the votes and reward the best proposal."

Spot the differences // Spot the similarities
Fuji Pro Track vs. Specialized Langster Pro. Don't look too different from each other but maybe that's just the style of 2012.
De Rosa Milanino 2012
Superb Sprint
"Here is a quick teaser of our first prototype. This one is called the Superb Sprint and is an aluminum frame with lugged steel fork. It is amazingly light weight, matching the Cinelli Mash, and that has a carbon fork!" ... aaand it looks almost like the Cannondale Track!
